Join FCMC for our annual intercontinental drive to Hiroshima Japan to watch them build red Miatas at their corporate headquarters. This short 7,507 mile trip, promises a test drive in the just announced "Miata XLTSRVU," a groundbreaking version of the beloved roadster whose features include a 7-passenger seating configuration, all-wheel drive, 7 cup holders, a stereo cd player, and a towing capacity of 5,000 lbs. Because who wouldn’t want to haul a trailer while carving canyon roads in their Miata? Also you should bring your appetite as we are trying to arrange lunch with the Mazda President / CEO, Haru Gōfastu. This drive is one you can not miss.
Travel itinerary is being finalized. Visit this site often for updates.
April 5,2025, Saturday, 8:30am - 11:30am Dupont Station shopping center, 6271 St Augustine Rd.
Come join us for the 10thAnnual San Jose Car & Truck Show at Dupont Station shopping center, 6271 St Augustine Rd. 32217.
Because First Coast Miata Club members have had an active role in participating and helping with operating the show, the organizers are planning to add a Miata Class to the show. There will a “best of” Miata and two runner ups as well. There is a $25 entry fee at the event, all proceeds are donated to the Bishop John J Snyder Community Center at the nearby San Jose Apartments- A HUD subsidized property for low-income seniors of all faiths. The Snyder Center itself relies on donations and is NOT HUD funded. Time to shine ‘em up and show ‘em off, all for a good cause!

April Event 17thAnnual Classic Mazda Racing Exhibition
Saturday, April 12 5PM-8PM Classic Mazda 1983 N. Semoran Blvd., Orlando, FL 32807 .
Featuring historic and modern racing Mazdas, Giant Mazda car show, Hot Wheel races on the 100 foot racetrack (bring yours if you got one!) and just a giant celebration of Racing and car culture. Ask anyone who went last year how HUGE this event is! We can have a group drive down to Classic Mazda that afternoon, but we need someone to lead it. Unfortunately, Hank McLeod is unable to go and lead the drive this year, but he would be happy to provide the route (it’s an enjoyable drive that uses some toll roads, but NO driving on I-4) for someone willing to lead the group!
If you’re going, register for your FREE commemorative T-shirt at https://events.classicmazda.com/annual-race-exhibition

NEED YOUR HELP. PLEASE READ...........
Our annual Membership Renewal meeting is in May, usually on the third Saturday. A new catered menu is planned but we lack a meeting place. We require a place that can accommodate all of our cars and has bathroom facilities. Whether is it outside or in, we need a roof in case of rain, such as a pavilion. Does anyone live in a community with a club house we could rent?
Please suggest a location. Contact Hank McLeod at hank@hjmcleod.com or Paula Horning at zoomzoom91miata@aol.com
The club drives for the future are under construction.
