April 5,2025, Saturday, 8:30am - 11:30am Dupont Station shopping center, 6271 St Augustine Rd.
Come join us for the 10thAnnual San Jose Car & Truck Show at Dupont Station shopping center, 6271 St Augustine Rd. 32217.
Because First Coast Miata Club members have had an active role in participating and helping with operating the show, the organizers are planning to add a Miata Class to the show. There will a “best of” Miata and two runner ups as well. There is a $25 entry fee at the event, all proceeds are donated to the Bishop John J Snyder Community Center at the nearby San Jose Apartments- A HUD subsidized property for low-income seniors of all faiths. The Snyder Center itself relies on donations and is NOT HUD funded. Time to shine ‘em up and show ‘em off, all for a good cause!

April Event 17thAnnual Classic Mazda Racing Exhibition
Saturday, April 12 5PM-8PM Classic Mazda 1983 N. Semoran Blvd., Orlando, FL 32807 .
Featuring historic and modern racing Mazdas, Giant Mazda car show, Hot Wheel races on the 100 foot racetrack (bring yours if you got one!) and just a giant celebration of Racing and car culture. Ask anyone who went last year how HUGE this event is! We can have a group drive down to Classic Mazda that afternoon, but we need someone to lead it.
We will have a group drive down to Classic Mazda for all who want to attend this amazing event. We will meet up at Gate Gas Station on 12705 Durbin Lake Dr, Jacksonville, FL 32258. This is the Gate Station off Old St Augustine Road at I-95. We will meet at 1:30PM for a 2:00PM departure. The first part of our journey will drive down I-95, but we will then exit off the interstate for a nice drive though Central Florida. We WON’T be driving on I-4 on the way down (You might want to take I-4 for the drive home though). Our route WILL include a toll road, so if you have a Sunpass, make sure it's charged up, but you can also pay-by-plate if you don't have a Sunpass. GMRS Radios not required, but HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for car-to-car communication.
We encourage everyone that plan on going to RSVP for the event. You can RSVP and receive a free, commemorative T-Shirt while supplies last! Here is the link to find out more about this fun event and to let them know you’re coming: https://events.classicmazda.com/annual-race-exhibition

MAY ??,2025 see below
NEED YOUR HELP. PLEASE READ...........
May is the time for our annual meeting and elections, but we need YOUR help- and quickly!
Our annual Club Membership Renewal and Elections meeting is in May, and is usually scheduled for the third Saturday. A new catered menu is planned but we still lack a meeting place. We require a place that can accommodate everyone (usually around 50 people), parking for all of our cars, and has bathroom facilities. It can be indoors OR outdoors, but consider that it’s May, so it WILL be warm. Any outdoor facility would require a roof for shade, and especially in case of rain, such as a pavilion. We can be flexible with the dates, Saturday the 17this the preferred date, but the 24th or 31st would also be okay if it allows us availability into a place. Does anyone live in a community with a club house we could rent, or know of another such facility available? It does not have to be in Jacksonville proper, it could be in St John’s or Clay counties, as long as it’s not too far out of the city area. Please contact Hank McLeod with your suggestions at hank@hjmcleod.com. Location address, contact name and contact numbers would be VERY helpful. THANK YOU!
