July - No Monthly Club Meeting
Our monthly meeting is taking July off to enjoy the summer. But that doesn’t mean we don’t have a July driving event.
July 18 - 9th Annual Jim Padgett Ice Cream Drive
It’s that time of year when evening drives are in order to beat the heat. Every year we honor our very own Jim Padgett.
August 11 - 6:00 P.M. Monthly Club Meeting
Our monthly meeting will be held at Bob Evans, 3163 Hartley Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32257 (at I-295 & San Jose Blvd near Whole Foods). The meeting will start at 7 pm.

Meetup Time: 5:00 PM
Depart Time: 5:30 PM
It’s time to beat the heat with an evening drive! This drive was a favorite of our late member, Jim Padgett, which is why it is named in his memory.
The drive will take us from Glen St Mary to Powell’s Dairy Freeze in Starke for a myriad of cool summer treats as well as hot dogs, burgers, fries, and other goodies.
We will meander through farm and cattle country along scenic byways, offering Miata-driving roads with minimal traffic and traffic lights, after we leave the bustling metropolis of Glen St. Mary, FL.
We will make a “pit stop” at Hardee’s in Lake Butler (not to dine - that’s why we’re going to Powell’s!). Powell’s has a variety of food and ice cream treats! My recommendation is the Chocolate Coke milkshake!

Point your Miata toward Lake City for a classic country cruise through some of North Florida's best backroads. We'll wind our way out to the Old Time Country Buffet for a hearty meal that's worth every mile.
Whether you're a seasoned club driver or joining your first group run, this is the perfect excuse to drop the top, stretch those curves, and enjoy the ride with great company.
